VIDEO GUIDELINES FOR CREATORS
What's the optimal length for my video?
We suggest 3-10 minutes, depending on your topic. Surgical procedures may be longer, but please divide your video into sections (for example, parts 1, 2 and 3), with each part less than 10 minutes.
How can I improve the audio?
We recommend using an external microphone such as the Audio-Technica ATR-3350IS (US$ 29 on Amazon) or Blue Snowball iCE Condenser Microphone (US$ 49 on Amazon). If this isn't possible, use your headset microphone but position 4-5 inches from your mouth. After recording, use a basic noise-removal filter to optimize your audio quality.
How can I improve the video?
A few suggestions:
Record in HD video. Set your Apple iMovie or Windows Movie Maker settings to HD resolution.
Select 16:9 settings and fade transitions. If you're creating a video from a slide presentation, configure your PowerPoint settings to 16:9 slides and use fade transitions.
Use plentiful lighting. If you're shooting live-action video such as a surgical procedure, provide lighting from various angles.
Can you recommend tools to create videos from a screenshare?
Can I request a "starter" package to help me create videos?

How can I send video files to you for post-production and uploading to Case?
We can use Dropbox, Google Drive or WeTransfer, whichever you prefer. (Note: if you use Wistia, we will download your video directly. No need to send your video). Please send your materials to email@example.com.
